Why Everyone Says Sub is Better than Dub | Sub VS. Dub

I know this will be your reaction right now but hear me out please xD. I'd like to give a fair warning and say I know a completely positive lie about sub. In fact before I intend to stay away from sub and stick to the English dub. Because it was easier to watch you know. There's less looking up and down all the time. Well one of the general assumptions is that dubs are nowhere near as good as the original Japanese voice acting. To understand the anime committee's issues with the English voice acting, I decided to hit up one of my favorite websites for discussions and forums and that's reddit…. I know that’s not convincing enough but let’s move on. So a nice variety of complaints and critiques about comments like just like a sub sound a lot more natural energy sitting from how family members are dressed. I found another one that said the original language has way more fluidity and that's something I can definitely agree on and this also makes sense. Remember the visuals in an anime are almost always designed to best suit Japanese non-english and so some of the details are lost in a translation. I mean there are just some things that you have only in the Japanese.

Like for example in English dub they actually keep the honorifics in the dub which make it sound a bit weird. The most common example that I can think of is Nii-san into mister and when you think about it in English it kind of sounds a bit weird. Now it's fairly obvious that Japan is going to have a lot more voice actors and they're typically better why since there are more people auditioning it's like the final kind of will include the best of the best within the addition of course whereas in the state's lessauditions means less selection and less selections means potentially worse content not to mention a lot of actors are recycled meaning that you use over and over again because there's not much variety and that can get really boring and really old. Well here are some sayings that Japanese voice actors sound better and that's because Japanese voice actors go to a full-time honours degree from reputable universities and voice acting takes the one in Tokyo. For example the actual degree takes four to five years full-time. Not only that but popular voice actors can be worth millions of dollars. I mean you don't see David Moo being worth millions of dollars. Now I'll try to make this fart sound as non-cringey of the can but there are definitely emotions involved in an enemy's voice acting. Sheriff for most of North America English is easier to understand but you lose the emotion and meaning behind as well. The way the words are said and even certain words we've grown to love, make a completely different experience. Like for example, oh honey, oh sweety. But I'll stop here for now because it's no use going on and on about this topic. It's all about what you prefer.

Please comment below your favorite current dubbed and i'm pretty sure it has to be my hero academia season. If not, I'll suggest you watch it in dub because that's the only anime I liked in dub. Or wait there's that anime too. Devil is a part timer. The dub was also good. Comment down below if you know any more good dub anime. Until next time.
