WAKE UP!

With the release of one of the newest spring anime Tokyo Revenger, I instantly fell in love with this series. I've been hearing about this series for the last few years but after checking it out myself I found that its whole setting and plot is really captivating and I see a little potential for this series. So let's get started with explaining the Tokyo manji gang which is one of the main driving plays for this series tokyo revenges. Is a story which follows hanagaki takamichi who isa 26 year old shouting worker and is living a pretty meaningless life however one day his life would flip around after hearing of the death of his girlfriend back when he was in middle school due to the result of gang grenade activities from the notorious tokyo kanji gang takamichi who was reflecting on how terrible his life had gotten as he got older, was on his way home from work when he was suddenly pushed into the train tracks by an unknown person. Moments before certain death he remembered his...

so im the person who loved gintama right from the get go. right from the first episode. i didnt read the gintama manga like ever. i started with anime and this is the only anime that actually made me cry.  As a person who found pleasure in the darkest and most gloomy kinds of settings, I would almost immediately say that this was not for me. Everything was just so weird and appeared to be arbitrarily glued together. I was so naïve. Story: 9/10 Sooo… yeah, this is actually hard. Gintama is composed of a series of mini arcs that have no real connection to each other. You can’t call it a consistent storyline but it’s also not really episodic, there are also fillers organically weaved into the style and pace of the anime. A strange kind of hybrid, that still works somehow. We have different little events like the Benizakura, Yoshiwara or Popularity Poll arc, which all are amazingly done. Action, drama and most of all comedy, Gintama’s got them all and none of them are bad. Also, becaus...

The only episode of boruto that i liked was where kakashi appeared. If i should say that everyone was anticipating this moment then i'm sure you guys will agree with me. So we got to see Kakashi in action in episode 36 and that was oh my god, can not be put into words. We finally got to see Kakashi's super savage side again that many people have forgotten about carefree and retired. Kakashi had taken an interest in the latest class of Academy students that were about to graduate to become ninjas and he decided that they are pretty much all horrible candidates, especially boruto.  Now why does the sixth Hokage hate Boruto so much who himself is recognized as a genius shinobi with very high potential. Let's start from the very beginning of the episode. Boruto is shown to have taken a written test where everyone was expected to cheat to pass but because he wasn't listening in class earlier he didn't realize that was what everyone else was doing. Pretty much the same te...

A visually stunning theatrical continuation of one of anime's biggest recent hits, Demon slayer the movie mugen train, only slightly misses the mark the film aims to show us how the characters have grown from training after their last life and death battle and how to have them learn the hard way. Just how far they still have to go, picking up moments after the end of the tv series, the film follows our team of heroes as they board a train where both normal people and demon hunters have gone missing in mass, likely due to demons of course. This means that whatever's going on a bit too much for mid-level hunter like Tanjiro and his friends so they are assigned to work with Rengoku, one of the nine strongest hunters in their organization yet as they begin to explore the mystery of the train, it quickly becomes clear that raw power alone will not be enough to save all those on board. While the film does have some good character development with each side character getting their ow...

Today, mushoku tensei a fantasy isakai produced by a studio, few have heard of before based on a light novel that's been around for years, unadapted, now brought to life to become a contender for one of the better show of the year or rather it had the potential to be. Anyways, while I'm usually one to promote the idea that you should not have to wade through episodes to get to the good stuff, mushoku tensei is this weird beast where the high points of the show exist from episode one. So it's really just a matter of if those same high points are enough to offset deals existing low points but we'll get that. Mushoku tensei quite often when i talk about shows in particular genres, specifically the genres like slices of life and in this case sekai where there has been no shortage of stories covering almost every aspect of it. In these cases I like to find and point out a show's quirk.  The thing that this show has which others in its genre don't. but mushoku tensei...

FIRE FORCE. Ahhh, I love self-explanatory titles. It saves me from having to describe what the show is about. There is fire and a force that stops it – pretty self-explanatory. Sure, it’s a bit more complicated than that, but we’ll come back to it. Fire Force is an adaptation of the manga of the same name by Atsushi Ōkubo, who, after spending ten years writing Soul Eater, decided to switch gears and focus on one of the greatest elements known to man: fire. This time, rather than a group of kids who team up to fight witches and the like, we instead have a group of kids who team up to LITERALLY fight fire with fire. Fire is, of course, the world’s great solution. There are very few problems that fire can’t solve! Bad hair day? Paper jam in the printer? Light the paper on fire, no more paper jam. Currently on fire? Add more fire and it’ll eventually grow, use up all the local oxygen and snuff itself out. Problem solved. Of course with this being an action shounen, that’s not the route the...

So everyone has heard of the promised neverland right. Be it the manga or anime, somehow or another, you do know about this amazing title. It’s first season was released back in 2019 and it got the hype that it deserved in every sense. Right off the bat, this series has me interested. Why? because its main characters are children but the setting doesn't focus around their everyday school life. A refreshing change that I Will always take when I can get it. Now these children are aged anywhere between infancy and 11 years old. They all live in a remote orphanage-like setting under the protection of a matronly woman that the kids refer to as mother. Here at this place they are taken care of, educated and admittedly are having fairly calm and peaceful lives. Spoiler warning while we're not talking about the manga, for this series today, this is still the point where I have to say if you haven't seen the series yet, I beg you to go do so. If the knowledge that this series is...
